Slow Erosion formed in 2013 when Steve Lake of cult post-punk outfit Zounds (vocals and bass) recruited Leila Gamaz (vocals and keys), Stevie Watson (guitar) and Suzi Lamb (drums). With darkly melodious interplay and unorthodox small kit drumming the band conjures a macabre psychedelia which plays the straight act to the wry bent of Lake's lyricism.
